I will offer periodically information on simple and proven strategies from my 20 plus years in youth development. These strategies will equip professionals and even parents with tools necessary to understand the need for youth to engage in self discovery, harness their special gift/talent, promote and market those strengths to employers, higher learning institutions and even entrepreneurship endeavors. It takes more than the foundational tools of science, english, math etc. to navigate the vicissitudes of life. No one, especially youth can escape life’s hardships and even in the best of times process a sense of direction in career, mission and purpose in this life without guidance.
